time management

I want more hours in day, more time for everything or at least less things that are compulsory, but useless, like some lectures I must attend, but I don't learn anything from, or the time I spend in public transport, which is so overcrowded, that I can't even read a book while travelling.
I want to be able to do more things and still get enough sleep.
It's not fair that the best time we have is runnig away through our fingers and what we have left is just regrets that we didn't go skiing again this winter or didn't meet with a classmate since graduation. And as my philosophy lecturer said last week "clock is a really depressing thing. We shouldn't have it in front of us." it is basically a rephrased line from Linkin ark song In The End: "the clock takes time away".
I'm trying to complain less, but I just want more time to enjoy life not regretting that I wasted prescious hours on something useless.
How do you manage your time? I need to learn it urgently.
